Status Updates

  • October-December
The City is scheduled to conduct an annual closed landfill inspection. A report will follow this inspection, documenting the site conditions.
  • June 21, 2010
The City completed the 2009 Groundwater and Soil Vapor Monitoring report. As discussed in this report, monitoring of the three groundwater monitoring wells and one deep nested soil vapor monitoring well at the landfill was discontinued. Soil vapor and groundwater monitoring data collected from 2001 -2009 indicated that there were no impacts to the groundwater due to the landfill. The City will reevaluate the landfill conditions annually to determine if soil vapor and groundwater monitoring is necessary. The report is available at the report/attachment section of this website.
  • 2000-2002
The City installed four groundwater and one deep soil vapor monitoring wells and began routine monitoring.
